Following Cyclone Gabrielle where I lost so much I decided to write about feelings conjured up following the disaster. My exceptional friends turned up to help along with many I didn't know , many of whom I am still in contact with. A church adopted me. What a saviour. Circumstances meant after 38 years of Insurance I had delayed renewing. What timing. I miss my cars and photographs but value what I have left. It has been an immense time of learning about fellow humans.
